TLS Sessions
The Twinkling Little Stars Project (TLS) introduces classical music to children who may not have experienced the incredible bliss of understanding and enjoying music, promoting their imagination and creativity so the younger generation will continue to thrive within this tradition. The program will work to spark children's interest in classical music and guide them towards a deeper appreciation of its unique qualities, which we hope will develop into a passion that lasts a lifetime.
The lessons and activities in these sessions are most suited to children in Grades 1-7.
Our session includes a slideshow presentation that consists of entertaining clips of classical music representation in cartoons, and activities involving movement and participation like matching music to feelings. Depending on your requests, our session could also include short performances (solo and chamber) to display how music could play a role in our lives. We will adjust the duration of the session according to your needs.
